Bula Kavananda is hands down one of Tampa’s hidden gems. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, welcoming, and genuinely uplifting. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable—they make you feel like part of the family, whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth. Quality is wonderful and owner is humble!

This is the best coffee house we have ever been to. We tried the Fiji Kava and got all tingly. Chris, behind the bar, was so friendly and kind. We immediately felt at home. We both had the cold brewed coffee, which was deliciously amazing. They even carried monk fruit sweetener! It is located in an old house, which is stunningly beautiful. Even the bathroom is pretty. Loads of people working on laptops enjoying their drinks. The bar is huge and fun to sit at. We will definitely be returning!

Ok so I didn't end up liking kava, this was my first time. But the service and ambiance at this barely-renovated-from-a-cute-house kava/coffeeshop can't be denied and shouldn't be missed. I don't really have much else to say except I hope to return for an espresso some day in the not-so-distant future. If I lived in the neighborhood this would be a great place to come grab some coffee in the morning and maybe do a little work. Or...take a nap!

This is my favorite kava bar. I have been to! Super homey and cozy, with a large variety of drinks to try. They have teas, coffees, kava and more. The customer service was great and the environment was very clean and friendly. A lot of cool people here who are very welcoming and friendly. If you haven't been, definitely recommend you coming to check out the place!

This Tea place is Amaze-balls! Best atmosphere, best Botanicals, best service in all of Florida. If politics are stressing you out, just come here. This place is the "Cheers" for my whole family. Shout out to Tyler and Spenser (and Reno and all of the Tribe). They are kind and patient, and pour some badass drinks. PLUS- the vibe here is soooo chill!! Bula!!

Such a cozy place! From the moment you arrive, it feels like stepping into a friend’s home. The interior design is truly unique and original, full of charm. The teas and cookies were beyond delicious! The service is friendly, but just a heads-up—you have to go to the counter to place your order, otherwise you might be waiting at your table for a while. Someone from the staff does bring your order to you afterward, though. I’m not sure if that’s how it always works, since it was my first time there. Still, the experience was really pleasant. I felt comfortable and enjoyed the moment. Definitely a lovely spot to relax and unwind.
